And what was considered a luxury home 20 years ago may not be considered a luxury home today.

Based on our many years in business of evaluating home we have come up with a simple criteria that reflects the changing marketplace over time.

We identify the luxury home market as homes priced at a point that would require a jumbo loan even with a 20% down payment. In 2006 this would include homes priced at $550,000 and above.
